Patrick is the principal officer of Surrey Engineering and Construction Group. A mechanical engineer by training, he has 40 years of experience in the fields of heavy engineering. Upon graduating from the City College of New York (CCNY), his career began as a junior lecturer of mechanical engineering at the University of Technology in Kingston, Jamaica. He went on to work for a 300-megawatt power station implementing efficiency upgrades. Continuing, he became a project manager in the water and wastewater sectors, working on projects ranging in value from 2 million dollars to 20 million dollars. Most recently, Patrick was a member of the project management team which installed emergency generator systems for the Metro-North railroad Grand Central station location.
Gerald Adams is a licensed professional engineer in the state of New Jersey and has had close to 40 years of experience in the public transportation sector. After graduating from CCNY, he held several positions with the New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority, overseeing major projects in their capital improvement program. Some of these include subway tunnels elevated at grade, viaduct structures and general rehabilitation, projects valuing from 100 million dollars to $350 million.
Kenneth Thomas is a licensed professional engineer in both Connecticut and New York. Having studied at the University of the West Indies and CCNY, he has amassed a wealth of experience in the public transportation sector over the course of his career. Overseeing several bridge and construction projects for the Long Island Railroad, he was also a structural designer of several facilities including platforms, ticket offices, retaining walls, and elevators for the disabled and elderly. Kenneth has inspected over 300 bridge facilities.
Russell is the junior engineer of Surrey Engineering overseeing the administrative and technical and communication aspects of the company. A graduate from the University of Connecticut at Storrs, Russell began his career interning at Noble Construction Group, based in Secaucus, New Jersey. Russell went on to work as an assistant project manager at the Guardian Airport Terminal b expansion in 2020.
Angela is an intern at Surrey Engineering Group assisting in design and management. As an incoming freshman at St. John's University, Angela plans on studying biology to pursue a career in the medical field.
